Summary

Keywords in E-mail subject

As a planner, I would like to add keywords in the email subject while configuring end-customer notifications.

This enhances the email notification experience for your end customers! You can now add custom keywords to the subject line of automated emails.

  • Easier Tracking: Regular customers can now track their delivery progress more effectively with key identifiers like Order ID, Delivery Status, and Tracking Number included directly in the email subject.
  • Personalized Communication: Tailor email subjects to your customers' needs, making it easier for them to find relevant notifications in their inbox.
  • Improved Customer Experience: With delivery details upfront in the subject line, customers can stay informed without needing to open every email.

Summary

Customer page constraints

As a planner, I would like to access the optimization constraints from the Customers page.

This gives users greater flexibility in configuring optimization constraints for deliveries. You can now configure key constraints such as required skills, require all skills to be compatible, depots allowed, products picked up, etc., directly from the Customer Master Page, in addition to the ad-hoc delivery upload page.

  • Centralized Configuration: Access and set these constraints easily from the Customer Master Page, streamlining operations for users who handle regular deliveries with pre-configured customer data.
  • Consistency Across Pages: Whether you are managing deliveries ad-hoc or via the customer master, you now have uniform access to all optimization constraints.
  • Improved Delivery Precision: Fine-tune logistics parameters to meet specific delivery needs, enhancing route efficiency and ensuring the right resources are assigned every time.

Summary

Add waypoints to an existing route

As a planner, I would like to add waypoints to the existing optimized routes. This enhancement allows planners to incorporate planned deviations into delivery routes after they have already been optimized.

  • Ctrl+Click on Map: Simply Ctrl+Click on the map to bring up a popup, allowing you to instantly add a waypoint to the planning.
  • Geocoded Addresses: When geocoding an address, the popup will give the option to add it as a waypoint with a single click.
  • Drag & Drop Functionality: Waypoints can be dragged and dropped to adjust their position on the route, making route adjustments quick and seamless.
  • Planned Deviations: Incorporate static stops (e.g., refueling stations, rest areas, checkpoints) without re-optimizing the entire route.
  • Flexibility in Planning: Waypoints can be added at any point in the planning process, allowing for quick adjustments based on real-world requirements.

Summary

Extended GPX export

As a planner, I would like to export an extended GPX file from TourSolver so that the deliverers get the turn-by-turn navigation on their vehicles even if they have lost the cell service.

  • Extended GPX File Export: The GPX file now includes detailed information about the planned route, such as waypoints, checkpoints, and turn-by-turn directions.
  • Offline Navigation: Deliverers and inspectors can upload the GPX file into their vehicle's navigation system, allowing them to follow the exact route even if they lose cell signal or data connectivity.
  • Seamless Integration: The exported GPX file is compatible with most vehicle navigation systems, ensuring easy setup and a reliable fallback option for uninterrupted deliveries.
  • Improved Route Adherence: Ensure drivers follow the planned route accurately, even in remote areas with poor connectivity.

Summary

Photo upload WS

As an integrator, I would like to consume the TourSolver API to upload photos to a visit.

This enhancement ensures seamless integration between external apps and the last-mile delivery system, providing valuable visual documentation of deliveries.

  • Photo Upload API: Third-party mobile applications can now use a dedicated endpoint to push images related to a specific delivery visit.
  • Centralized Access: Uploaded photos will be instantly accessible on the Fulfillment Page, allowing planners to view and refer them in real-time.
  • Operational Insight: Photos provide critical visual evidence, assisting planners and dispatchers in resolving operational issues, verifying successful deliveries, or documenting delivery conditions.
